I am a labor/birth doula.

As your doula I will see you as many times as possible prior to your birth. I think the more time we spend together, the more we get to know each other, the more comfortable you will be during the birth.  This will help me gain insight on your views and wishes about your birth.

I will support you emotionally and educationally throughout your pregnancy and be there to answer any questions you may have or feelings you need to explore.

Doula Care Includes:

Dietary consultation

We will do a food journal and advice you on a proper pregnancy diet

Belly cast

A belly cast is a three-dimensional plaster sculpture of a woman's pregnant belly for the purpose of having a keepsake of the pregnancy.Belly casts are often made during the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy and some women choose to make a series of them capturing the progression of their pregnancy.

Childbirth Education

I will educate you on pregnancy, childbirth stages and process, relaxation techniques, Labor positions, information on pain medications, information on vaccinations.

Scheduling 

Postpartum Doula Care is offered in blocks of time ranging from 3-7 hours.  My coverage area includes a 35 minute travel radius.  However, I make exceptions depending on need and availability.

 A free Prenatal Consultation is included with Doula Care.This is a great opportunity to meet and answer questions.There is no obligation—it’s important that we are both comfortable. If not, than I’ll help you find someone who can better meet your needs. 

I schedule clients on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, if you find  after delivery suddenly needing help please don't hesitate to contact me.
